Description
Restorative Sound Bath with Earthean Sound ”Using the healing power of sound to calm the mind, restore the body, and connect the soul.” During this busy holiday season, it’s important to take time for self care. Honor yourself by joining Earthean Sound for a restorative and healing sound bath. As sound (and silence) wash over your body, you will drift into a state of calm and relaxation, allowing stress and tension to fade away as your body’s natural healing powers are activated. Sound bath attendees often experience relief from stress, anxiety, depression, and pain. Many report a calmer mind, increased mental clarity, emotional release, clearing of emotional blockages, relaxation, better sleep, personal transformation, and spiritual connection. What you need to know to have the best sound bath experience: 1. Bring a yoga mat - you will be laying on the floor for the sound bath. Additionally, you can bring a blanket, pillow, eye mask, or anything else you need to be comfortable on your back for about 45 minutes. 2. Dress comfortably, and be sure to wear socks. You will be asked to remove your shoes when you enter. 3. Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early. The doors will close and be locked at 3:10pm to ensure all participants can experience the sound bath undisturbed. 4. You are encouraged to bring water to hydrate after the experience. 5. You will be asked to turn your phone off or put it on airplane mode to ensure everyone can experience the sound bath undisturbed. 6. Face masks, fully covering your mouth and nose, are mandatory for entry and throughout the entire experience. No exceptions. This honors the Atlanta mask ordinance, and it keeps you and other participants safe. Please note: Sound baths are not recommended for people with thrombosis, seizure disorders, sensory challenges, and women in their first 8 weeks of pregnancy. If any of these conditions apply to you, please consult your physician before participating in a sound bath. What else you should know: We may take pictures during the sound bath to share on social media for promotion. If you do not wish to be included in pictures, please email [email protected] prior to the event. Parking: Free onsite parking The Movement Lab ATL by T. Get to know your Practitioner: Jen Buege Founder, Earthean Sound Jen Buege is a Certified Sound Healing Practitioner, who trained with Danielle Hall and is certified by the SoundEmbrace Institute. Through group and private sound healing sessions, Jen guides clients through various healing journeys, ranging from minimizing stress, anxiety, and depression to support through more serious physical conditions. She guides her clients to prioritize their wellbeing, be more present, and improve how they interact with the world around them. “My goal is to help my clients heal in the same way that sound healing helped me. For years, I battled anxiety and depression that I thought I could never overcome. I was in a seemingly unending cycle of medications that sometimes treated my symptoms, but absolutely did not treat the causes. I believed that the only way I could maintain “normal” was to be medicated for the rest of my life. I was not well. Three years ago, two friends introduced me to sound healing, and my life changed forever. Through regular sound healing sessions and personal work, I found a side of myself that I didn’t know existed. I found the space to be whole, to be content, and to feel safe in my own skin. Without medications. My healing journey led me to become a sound healing practitioner. I want to help others find peace, be complete, and transform their lives into beautiful new beginnings.”
