Hillsborough Tax Collector Raises $15K For Moffit Cancer Cancer

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Hillsborough County Tax Collector Nancy Millan announced that the agency's employees raised a record-breaking $15,850 for Moffitt Cancer Center during the annual Miles for Moffitt run. "Employee participation for this year's event was the highest we have ever had at 75 percent. It makes me so proud to be a part of this incredibly giving team," said Millan. "Most of us have felt the impact of cancer, and we know how fortunate we are to have Moffitt Cancer Center right in our backyard." This year the tax collector's office was the second company in funds raised for the event. Employees raised funds through various internal events along with online donations for Miles for Moffitt.
