Press release from SilverSource: Dec. 8, 2021 Stamford resident and community leader Gail Grosso Hofmann has been named to the Board of Directors at SilverSource, Inc., a leading resource for older adults in the Stamford area. Hofmann has been a volunteer with the area non-profit since 2017 and has served as Co-Chair of the organization's Events Committee. "Gail has years of experience developing community engagement strategies, and her expertise has been especially beneficial in enhancing our events and gifts program," said Kathleen Bordelon, SilverSource CEO. Ms. Hofmann began her marketing career with Unilever at Chesebrough-Ponds in Greenwich, and held a variety of positions over her 30 years with the company. During that time, she led the companywide multi-brand portfolio marketing initiative and strategic alliances across 40+ brands including Dove, Suave, Hellmann's and Lipton. In addition to spearheading strategic corporate initiatives, she oversaw the more classic activation/promotion planning on many iconic brands such as Dove, Vaseline, Axe and Lipton. Since her retirement from Unilever, Ms. Hofmann has been working as a marketing communications consultant building other corporate brands and developing strategies for many local companies. She is also a long-time community leader who has leant her specialized skills to many non-profit organizations in Stamford. A graduate of The College of New Rochelle, Ms. Hofmann holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business and communications.
