Job description Female Client, PCA: Must have CAR, Client has no pets Bloomfield 7 days a week. 7 hours a day. Sunday through Saturday. We are looking for a competent personal care assistant to support physically or mentally challenged customers in their everyday lives. The fulfilment and satisfaction that comes with helping others surpasses the challenges of this job. Experience in housekeeping tasks and caring for the elderly or sick will make you a strong candidate. Responsibilities Ensure clients receive their medication on timeSupport clients who can’t move on their ownHelp clients dress, bathe, eat etc.Assist clients with physical therapy exercisesCook meals according to the customer’s restrictionsHelp customers with their shoppingDo necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environmentProvide emotional supportInform physicians or supervisors about uncommon eventsAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Skills Proven experience as personal care assistantCommitted to health & safetyAble to do housework and cookingWell-organized and reliableExcellent communication and people skillsPositive and compassionate attitudeStrong ethicsPhysical staminaCPR certifiedHigh school diploma or equivalentA valid driver’s license Job Type: full time Pay: $13.00 to 14.00per hour
