MILFORD, CT — Ricky Garcia, 59, must decide next month whether to accept a plea deal or proceed with a trial, Hearst Connecticut reports. Garcia is accused of beating a housemate, Christopher Peckham, 49, to death in 2019 at an Anderson Avenue residence, Hearst CT reports. In 2019, Milford police charged Garcia with first-degree manslaughter, and he was held in lieu of a $250,000 bond. According to online court records, Garcia has been in custody since May 20, 2019 and his next court date is scheduled for 10 a.m. Jan. 14, 2022.
