PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — A house fire in Lake Ridge displaced five people on Monday afternoon, according to the Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. Emergency personnel responded to the blaze around 2:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon. The residents discovered the fire in the 12700 block of Lockleven Lane as they returned home, authorities said. When fire crews arrived, they observed heavy smoke and a fire spreading from the kitchen, according to a report from the department of fire and rescue. The fire was quickly extinguished.
