Quantico Live-Fire Training: Sounds, Vibrations Possible

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — If your house shook in eastern Prince William County this morning, you're not alone. Through Dec. 17, Marines at Quantico will be conducting live-fire training exercises with explosives and firearms. In an update posted to Facebook, Marine Corps Base Quantico said that training would be almost continuous. Residents near the base can expect to feel vibrations, see flashes, or hear gunshots while training takes place.
