BELLMORE, NY — A local student is already in the business of giving back to people. Jaiden Zoller is a 13-year-old from Bellmore who recently launched the not-for-profit Project Level Up. Zoller splits his time as an outfielder and left-handed pitcher for the Long Island Titans. He is using his social media platforms, which include 75,000 TikTok followers, to raise money for underprivileged kids who love baseball as much as him, but don't have the financial means or home support to participate. "I'm extremely passionate about the sport, and the work needed to play at my personal best," Zoller says on his website. "But I'm also aware that I'm fortunate enough to have access to positive influences, state-of-the-art facilities, the best equipment and a highly supportive family. My situation and life let me focus on sport." Zoller is selling silicone bands and will "invest 100 percent of all band profits to support young athletes with professional training, team fees, equipment and even travel expenses," as stated on the website. He is also planning future fundraising missions.
