BOULDER COUNTY, CO — A skier who died Tuesday after a collision on Eldora Mountain has been identified as Robert Williams, 60, of Nederland, the Boulder County Coroner's Office confirmed.
Williams was found lying on the ground in the trees on a ski run just before 10:30 a.m., the Boulder County Sheriff's Office said.
"The male was unconscious and alone and had apparently collided with a tree at some point earlier in the day," the office said in a news release.
"Ski patrol immediately began first aid and CPR, but their resuscitative efforts were unsuccessful."
Williams was pronounced dead around 11 a.m. in a first aid room on the mountain.
No foul play is suspected, investigators said.
