Press release from Prince George's County Memorial Library System: November 19, 2021 (revised November 29, 2021*) Largo, Md. – As part of the Library's commitment to ensuring that Prince George's County residents have equitable access to public health services, PGCMLS will host free COVID-19 vaccine clinics at nine branch libraries starting on November 23, 2021. The participating branches are: Beltsville, Greenbelt, Fairmount Heights, Glenarden, Greenbelt, Hillcrest Heights, Oxon Hill, South Bowie*, and Spauldings. Clinics are supported by the Prince George's County Health Department, Maryland Department of Health, and Maryland Vaccine Equity Task Force. The clinics will offer Pfizer vaccines for residents ages 5 and up, including booster doses for eligible adults. Each participating branch will host a single first dose clinic and a single second dose clinic. Vaccinations will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis and no appointments are required.
