WOMAN’S RECOVERY SERVICES is looking for a part-time maintenance/ handyman to join our team and help keep our 4 Santa Rosa properties in good shape. Ideal candidates should demonstrate the following: Proven experience in general maintenance and building repair. Ability to safely lift heavy pieces of furniture, boxes, supplies, etc. Basic familiarity with building systems, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc. Some carpentry skills, painting, irrigation and general building maintenance. 1 to 2 days per week with flexibility for on-call emergencies. Able to maintain a sunny disposition, be creative and community minded. Some knowledge and experience working with a non-profit. Assist ownership and staff with general building improvement projects and odd jobs. Perform daily, weekly and seasonal maintenance. Paint floors and walls as needed. Assist staff to move large pieces of furniture. Assist with moving and hanging pictures and blinds. General outdoor maintenance and upkeep around building areas. Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with owners, staff and clients. Must have basic tools & supplies. Part time 1 to 2 days per week.
