RE2: Why do I boycott China

There is another point I would like to say. So here is my two cents. It is more than just a political position that has the China infection all over America. It is our fault for giving into the idea of wanting to buy goods cheap. We lost sight of American made for saving a few dollars. Big Corporations invested a lot of time and money into building factories and using cheap labor to make almost everything we use. Companies have stockholders that want to see the value of their investments rise. Corporations want to make big profits on goods. All go hand in hand. We lost sight on how many jobs were being shipped overseas. And not just China. I was amazed how much we were depended on China when the pandemic hit. 90% of our drugs come from China. They also produce a huge amount of the medical equipment we need like MASKS, Syringes, Protective wear. Shoes clothing you name it and it will say Made in China, Tiwan, India. Whether or not you liked President Trump He hit a nerve about bring back manufacturing goods American Made. That scared so many people. But he was on the right track. (make America powerful again-not gonna happen) You are missing some "important" information on "how" we as a nation and an economy of consumers got to this point.It didn't just happen.It was largely a calculated, political decision.Good luck avoiding to buy anything "not manufactured" that wasn't made in china or touched by China.Almost everything goes through China in some fashion or another.That;s why we are having the supply problems we are having,at least the majority is a result of that because China "is"(for the most part) a very big part of our(and the world's) supply chain. Mostly "US".China is in the economic and political position that it is because e"our" politicians put them there.Thery handed China "the keys" so to speak and after that, we have been getting screwed ever since and that is why we are where we are.You can thank every elected politician in DC for the last 41 years for that.Even DUMP.The die has been cast and there are few options to break it short of a war that "we" would lose and LOSE BADLY to. I will admit, trying to navigate life without buying any Chinese made products is not easy. China manufactures nearly ALL of the retail goods sold in America. This domination of the manufacturing sector is why China is the global superpower. China has more wealth than any other nation including the U.S. China has a larger and stronger military than any other nation and perhaps larger than the NATO forces combined. China has an agenda!!! Their agenda is to rule the world. China already owns millions of acres of farm land IN AMERICA. China owns more real estate in American cities than the next 5 foreign countries combined. Every time you buy products (clothing, tools, home goods, cel phones, appliances, car parts, etc.) made in China, you make the communist nation MORE POWERFUL. Americans have mindlessly handed over the global power through our retail dollar. Every dollar that the U.S. hands over to China is one dollar weaker OUR nation is. Lastly, Chinese made products are designed to fail. Most Chinese made goods are designed with a limited life span/low quality. This ensures more retail dollars will go to China periodically to replace poorly made goods.
