Press release from the City of Santee: December 6, 2021 The City of Santee is requesting proposals for the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding during Program Year 2022 (July 2022 – June 2023). CDBG is a federally funded program administered by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Monies provided through the CDBG program can be used to fund a variety of public improvements and services that benefit low- and moderate-income residents. During Program Year 2021 (July 2021 – June 2022) the City allocated $45,310 to providers of public services. It is unknown at this time what level of CDBG funding will be available to the City of Santee in Program Year 2022. The Request for Proposal (RFP) and Applications for Program Year 2022 CDBG funds will be available December 10, 2021, and may be downloaded from the City's website here. If you have questions about the CDBG program and/or activity eligibility, or want an application packet, please call (619) 258 4100, Extension 221.
