Press release from the Baltimore County Police Department: December 08, 2021 This Saturday, December 11, marks the 20th annual Shop with a Cop in Baltimore County. This is a great photo opportunity and such a heartwarming event! One hundred officers and one hundred children will be taking part in this year's Shop with a Cop. It's worth noting, this tradition is the largest event of its kind in the state. Saturday, December 11, 2021 7:15 a.m. Children and Officers depart from precincts 7:45 a.m. Arrive at Park & Ride located at Warren Road 8:00 a.m. Arrive at Cockeysville Walmart to begin shopping (1 Frankel Way) At approximately 8 a.m., the officers and children will arrive at the Walmart store in Cockeysville (1 Frankel Way). As they arrive, the officers and children will be greeted by members of the Optimist Club of Baltimore County. The Optimist Club provides each child with $100 to spend as he or she chooses. Usually, the children buy presents for family and friends.
