Press release from the City of Austin: December 3, 2021 Case: 21-3360833 Date: Thursday, December 2, 2021 Time: 2:30 p.m. Location: 12200 block of Old Stage Trail Deceased: Identity will be released pending family notification On Thursday, December 2, 2021, at approximately 2:30 p.m., 9-1-1 received a report of a deceased person located in the 12200 block of Old Stage Trail. Austin Police Department (APD) officers, along with Austin-Travis County EMS, arrived on the scene and discovered a male victim with obvious trauma. The victim was pronounced deceased at 3:12 p.m. by EMS. Homicide investigators and crime scene technicians responded to the scene to interview witnesses and process the scene. The Travis County Medical Examiner's Office will conduct an autopsy and determine the official cause and manner of death.
