HOBOKEN, NJ — Needy people can apply for programs for food and housing, but what if they can't afford to shop for holiday gifts for their loved ones?
Hoboken's Community Center — which runs a food pantry that also gives out toiletries and diapers for those in need — is seeking donations for their second annual "holiday market" for needy clients. Residents donate gifts, and needy people can "shop" at the market to pick out items for their loved ones.
Santa comes in many forms!
Residents can donate at several locations uptown and downtown, including two locations of Choc-o-pain and Bwe Coffee, and the Community Center at 1301 Washington St.
The deadline for donations is this Friday, Dec. 10.
