Roommates bike was stolen

I live at an apartment complex called Laurel Ridge off of Hall, and someone walked on and took my roommates bike from under our stairs. All of the other unlocked bikes throughout our complex where left untouched, so, really guys? He was using it to get to work and back, went through hell to get it, and someone steals it. It's orange with a light and key operated lock. Is there any kindness during this Holiday season with another strain being discovered as well?
