***Construction Job Runner at The Gas Connection*** The Gas Connection is Colorado’s leading natural gas line installation and service company. The Runner supports our install and service technicians by doing pre-site inspections at job sites and transporting parts and materials. This position is key to the success of the installers and service techs. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required for this position. Plumbing or HVAC industry experience or a mechanical background are a plus. Runners who excel will have the opportunity to join our Install team as an apprentice and, depending on performance, could rise to an Installer position after ~2 years of training, with the opportunity to eventually earn ~$70K+ annually. Benefits: • Competitive compensation • Dental insurance and Simple IRA • Vehicle provided during business hours Daily Responsibilities: • Drive to job sites to do inspections prior to job execution • Take measurements and pictures at job sites • Transport parts to technicians in the field • Pick up and deliver materials • Pick up and drop off county permits • Help stage parts and materials each morning • Assist Fleet and Inventory team with vehicle and yard maintenance • Perform other ‘go to’ tasks as needed Preferred Qualifications and Experience: • Professional appearance and pleasant attitude • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred • Basic mechanical skills or inclination; experience in the trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC), construction, or mechanical contracting a plus • **Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are firm requirements** Work Location: Broomfield, CO Open to Remote Hire: No Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17 - $19 per hour depending on experience
