Vazzana as Law Director    After holding interviews with a diverse, experienced group of candidates and having discussions with Council and City leadership, City of Twinsburg Mayor Ted Yates is pleased to announce that Matthew J. Vazzana has accepted the position of Law Director. Vazzana is currently the City Solicitor (Law Director) for the City of Hudson where he was promoted from Assistant City Attorney in 2018.    "I am excited to welcome Matt to our team. His entire career has been focused on municipal law and he brings a wealth of experience to the City. Matt has the right legal background and disposition to quickly adapt to this challenging role. I look forward to working with Matt in this time of great opportunity for the City and its residents." – Mayor Ted Yates   Matt began his law career with internships at the City of Cleveland and the US Coast Guard JAG Corps. His decade-long career working with municipalities started with the City of Streetsboro where he gained experience in planning, zoning, contract negotiation and review, all while also serving as the Prosecutor as he represented the City in court and advised the Police Department on criminal charges. Vazzana has also served as an Attorney with the City of Aurora during his time with the City of Hudson. At Hudson he represents the City in all legal matters and supervises the prosecutor, special counsel, and outside counsel.    "I am honored to be selected as Twinsburg's next Law Director. I plan to continue the great work that has been done by Law Director Maistros during his long tenure with the City.
