Architectural Sheet Metal Field Installer ***Entry level position available, no experience necessary.*** We are willing to train hard working individuals who are interested in learning valuable skills in the construction industry. Installation of architectural sheet metal associated with the construction of buildings in the commercial and industrial sectors are performed by the Architectural Sheet Metal Worker. Key attributes for Installers in this trade are mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, safety awareness and the ability to work as a team player. Field installer: This position requires that workers: Learn the skill to install Metal roof panels and metal walls panel systems including composite panels. This also includes installation of Soffits and FlashingsIndividual must possess a valid and current driver’s license. A clean DMV record is a major plus and may lead to company truck privileges.Candidate will be responsible for transportation to and from construction sites. Opportunity for advancement.Some travel required with this position Architectural Sheet Metal Installers work primarily outdoors. The job is physically demanding requiring lifting, climbing, bending, kneeling, and working on high sloped surfaces. Applicant must pay attention to detail. Installation and/or fabrication of architectural sheet metal associated with the construction of buildings in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors are performed by the Architectural Sheet Metal Worker. Shop Worker: This position requires that workers have the ability to: Read plans and specificationsOperate specialized tools and metalworking machinesFabricate products of the desired dimensions and propertiesInspect work to ensure product qualityLayout and fabricate componentsRepair materials Key attributes for fabricators in this trade are mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, safety awareness and the ability to work as a team player.
