Description
Three year old Shepard mix, roughly 60lbs
She was a stray a majority of her life, I adopted her almost a year ago. She’s a really good dog, but the problem I have is that she’s so so so timid (likely abused previously) and whenever I try to cut her nails or groom her she tends to get a bit aggressive, has never bit but enough aggressive behaviors that it makes me uncomfortable, so I have to take her to the groomer for baths and nail trimmings and I really just cannot afford it any longer. I’m embarrassed to say that her nails are much longer than they should be and she deserves better.
I have never heard her bark, she’s good with older kids. She has a very high prey drive so she cannot be in a home with cats or other animals. I’ve only had her play with one dog of the same size and she did really well.
She is house trained and fixed, up to date on all shots except kennel cough
When I adopted her they let me know that she had previously broken the femoral neck in her back left leg, it’s been healed for around two years they estimate and doesn’t seem to bother her although she does have a slight limp. She also has a BB gun pellet imbedded in her chest.
No rehoming fees. I just really want her to get the care she deserves.
