CLEVELAND — Two people were driven to a fire station in Cleveland to get help after being shot on Tuesday night. At 11 p.m., a wounded 22-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man were driven to the fire station on E. 152nd Street. The woman had been shot multiple times in the chest, while a bullet had grazed the back of the 36-year-old, Cleveland police said. Both hurt people were taken to University Hospitals, where the woman was later declared dead, police added. Investigators believe the actual shooting took place at a home on E. 149th Street. Police think both the wounded man and the killed woman were talking in a driveway when someone drove by and fired a gun at them. After the shooting, a 29-year-old drove the two wounded people to the fire station to get help. A person of interest has not yet been identified in the shooting, police said. Anyone with information on Tuesday night's shooting should contact investigators at 216-623-5464. Anonymous information can be provided by calling CrimeStoppers at 216-25-CRIME and a cash reward of up to $5,000 may be available.
