Press release from City of Douglasville: 12/07/2021 3:32 PM Douglasville Human Resources held their annual Employee Service Awards Ceremonies in December. All employees who have 5 years or more in increments of 5 are recognized for their years of service to the city. Recent retirees are also honored and several employees are recognized for their superior service to the citizens of Douglasville.   Public Services Director Greg Roberts was honored as the City of Douglasville "Employee of the Year". Mr. Roberts has been with the City of Douglasville since 1992.     Deputy Chief Sue Anne Shaw and Fleet Maintenance Manager, Todd McAllister, were honored for 30 years of service to the City of Douglasville.     Crime Scene Technician Stephanie Hoefs was honored as the "PD Civilian Employee of the Year" and Sgt. Chris Bender was recognized as the "PD Supervisor of the Year."       Officer Andre Futch is the 2021 "Officer of the Year".     Congratulations to all these employees, and thank you for your service to the citizen's of Douglasville.
