Press release from the City of Mobile Police Department: Dec 8, 2021 On Monday, December 6, 2021, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Mobile Police officers responded to the 2700 block of Mill Street in reference to one shot. Upon arrival, police officers discovered Gary Knight, age 40, deceased from a gunshot wound.  This is an active homicide investigation. We will release updates as information becomes available.
