Description

Electrical-Electronics parts free for any school wanting them. After several years of operating two small businesses and having my product's ideas and designs stolen and copied by mostly foreign businesses I am calling it quits and giving away the pieces I have left. Take it all or part...free is free. What I don't give away I will haul to the landfill. I would rather school students gain the experience in the use of the supplies. What I have: 1) parts for manufacturing a table top styrofoam cutter: 343--3.4Vrms wall plug transformers; 261-- 1/2"W x 1/8" thick x 18"L iron strips; 3-- 1/4lb rolls #26 nickel-chromium heating wire; 939--1/2"sq x 1/4" thick rubber adhesive feet; box of 1/2" #6 sheet metal screws; 77-- 1/2" hairpin clips; 182-- crimp ring-terminals, fits the screws and #16 gage wire; and a few other odds and ends. 2) parts for manufacturing a microprocessor controlled radio transmitter/receiver signal and for each of 16 numerical codes displays a particular screen image (letters/numbers). All the materials to build 50 or more of these devices, including PIC processors, LCD displays, assorted resistors, LEDs, project boxes, wire, 9v battery connectors, radio transmitter and receiver modules, and a few other odds and ends including software and programmers and test beds for programming the PIC processors The device we built was a 4-gas monitor simulator used for training fire and rescue personnel to operate in hazardous closed environments. You get technical information on the components. YOU WILL NOT get the technical materials or programs for building the simulator. This is a gold mine of parts if you teach electronics. Note: the PIC is a Programmable Intelligent Computer. It is a very small computer chip with memory and ports built-in and can be used for many programmable functions. I'll teach you how to use it.
