Pet Pigeon needs a home

Very sweet pigeon—she(he? we aren’t sure) was a homing pigeon who got injured so she ended up at the humane society. She’s sweet and silly, but very very timid and scared of most everything right now. With patience and love she’ll be a great pet, she just needs someone who is experienced enough to let her get comfortable. She *loves* baths and sitting on her platform looking out the window. I’m sure she’d love a home where she can free fly in a pigeon-proofed room, too. I’m only rehoming her because I found out after I adopted her that I’m very allergic to pigeons. She needs a quiet home—young kids and dogs/cats are a no-go but a home with other birds, especially pigeon/s, could be great. She’s *only* to be adopted as a pet, and since there are so many people who would take a free pigeon and use her for dog training, hunting, etc. she’s got a rehoming fee of $100. That includes about $200 worth of supplies, I just really want to find her a good home. Email me with any questions or if you’re interested. She’s scheduled to go back to the humane society on Monday, but like I said, I’d much rather her to straight to her new loving home because the humane society is such a stressful environment.
