Hi, folks. I’m looking for a new fiddler and/ or multi instrumentalist (guitar, mandolin, dobro, etc.) for an Americana cover band. Major bonus points if you will/ can sing with me! Lead vocals/ rhythm guitar (me), bass, and percussion are already secured. We have three sets rehearsed and ready to perform. We have had just a handful of gigs with some other guest musicians but are looking for another permanent member or two so we can start promoting ourselves, properly. This isn’t a high-paying situation, of course; my current/previous bandmates and I all have day jobs. The primary value would be artistic expression and fun. Regular practice would be required (say once a week?) because who wants to go out there and fall on your face? No flakes, please. I am similarly disinterested in your giant ego or bad attitude. Must be kind, queer friendly, and reasonably woke. I would like this project to be sustainable and am looking for people with the energy and time to join me in that. We don’t have a social media presence yet, but am working on that. I can send you practice snippets, if you want. Actual recordings pending. Looking forward to hearing from you!
