Description
Welsummers chickens are a rare, sweet and docile breed, and this one is no exception. He is very sweet and cooperative.
I intended to keep him, but once I added him to my flock, the other roosters crowed so much that my neighbor complained. So I can’t keep him. But I want him to go to a loving home. And you could raise some rare and sweet chics if you have a Welsummer hen!
His hatch date is Aug 20, 2021, so he is over 3 months old. He hasn’t crowed yet but he has tried to mate with my Silkies.
The Welsummer roosters are especially beautiful and are even famous!
Remember Cornelius (The Kellogg’s rooster)? He is a Welsummer rooster!

My birds are for enjoyment and to be pets. I pick beautiful and friendly breeds. I want someone who will enjoy seeing them in their yard. If you want them as meat birds, please don’t call me.
I give them high quality feed and add Calcium, probiotics, vitamins and electrolytes, and they free range during the day.
