Part Time Handyman Blue Steel Construction and Management, a Capital Region property management company, is seeking a part time handyman at one of our apartment complexes. We are looking for a reliable, self-starter, who can work independently and with little instruction. Requirements: - Reliable transportation, including a valid driver's license - Own/ have access to essential hand and power tools - Ability to perform strenuous physical activity in a variety of field conditions - Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs at a time - Must be able to be consistently reached by phone - Emergency availability a plus, additional compensation will be provided Responsibilities - Work may include but is not limited to the following - Drywall installation - Cabinet installation - Painting/patching walls/ceilings - Replacing toilets/faucets/drains - Repairing/replacing light fixtures/outlets/switches - Install laminate/vinyl flooring - Perform tile/grout work - Diagnosing and repairing leaks Compensation $22/hour min of 20 hours per week. Potential for salary increases for those who prove they can work independently and with little instruction
