Beautiful one year old dog looking for a forever home. Mother was a pure bred Gordon Setter, the Father was a pure bred German Shephard, both with great blood-lines. We have not worked with him in the field, but he is a great retriever which is unusual for the Gordon Setter. He loves the water and will jump off the dock and fetch sticks all day long. He loves the outside but is not acclimated to sleeping in the winter cold. He does well on a tie-out and sits calmly as you hook and unhook him. But he does need a chance to run and play. A fenced in yard would be ideal. He loves playing with other dogs and does great in dog parks. He has no aggression in him whatsoever. However, he still has some puppy in him and is just wanting people that will play fetch with him. He has spent a lot of time around people and indoors. We have 6 grandkids from the age of 9 all the way down to a newborn, so he has often been around a lot of commotion and loves being a part of it. He is really a great dog but wants more attention and time outdoors than we are able to give him. He is up to date on his shots, has been neutered, and has no health issues. We paid $500.00 for him less than a year ago and are looking for a rehoming fee of $150.00 to ensure that he goes to a good home. We hate to see him go, but he will be better off with a family that will give him the attention he wants and deserves.
