Warehouse Person Compensation: $15/hr Employment type: Full time Work for a small electronics manufacturer in North County. We promote an enjoyable working environment with a family like culture. We are actively seeking a Warehouse Person to join our successful team! This position provides many opportunities for growth and reports directly to the Shipping Clerk. Essential Functions: 1. Taking inventory of customer kits, including simple testing of cables and sensors. Filling out inventory forms. 2. Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, stocking products. 3. Assist in counting of physical inventory. 4. Assist with simple production tasks. 5. Help keep warehouse and work area orderly & safe at all times. 6. Wear proper safety equipment. 7. Warm friendly attitude. Desire to be helpful. Qualifications: - Must be self-motivated and take initiative - Ability to work towards a goal with others - Excellent communication skills, reading, writing and verbal. - Basic math skills. Counting, adding, subtracting. - Requires routine lifting & carrying of 40 lb boxes. - Outstanding attention to detail Work Environment This position works in a warehouse setting with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses hand trucks, box cutters, tape dispensers, staplers, scissors. Preferred Education and Experience: None required.
