We are a small wholesale company looking to add a new guru to our warehouse team. Currently have 1 person responsible for picking, packing, and shipping stuff and 1 person who sells all the goodies for accounts on the west coast. Looking for a strong #2 person to help with the warehouse stuff so the sales person will have more time to sell more stuff, so that the warehouse can ship more stuff...you get the idea... Job also includes unloading containers occasionally, loading trucks, preparing for daily FedEx/USPS pickups, assisting with inventory counts & other general warehouse responsibilities like keeping the place tidy. Must be reliable and honest with strong attention to detail, but really we are looking for someone who fits our vibe more than anything. If you can drive a fork lift it's definitely a plus, but we can always show you how to do it as well. We use an order picker lovingly named Shelia and she can be a bit of an acquired taste to maneuver. Warehouse experience is not required, but is also a plus. We sell ceramic pots so you gotta be able to lift up to 65 lbs. Oh, and you can't be afraid of heights. This is a contract job and is roughly 32 to 40 hours per week, though that is flexible if needed. You will be paid as an independent contractor since we are a tiny Canadian company (don't worry, we pay in USD).
