Description
Our dog Ada is having some difficulty adjusting to her new home in the City. We recently moved to Pittsburgh from a very quiet neighborhood in a more rural state. Ada is a very sensitive dog, and requires a backyard where she can feel safe. We currently don't have a backyard, and so Ada doesn't have a lot opportunity to interact with her new environment.
Ada is a 5 year old black and white female Shepherd/Lab Mix. She weighs about 40lbs. She gets along very well with children, but has to be introduced to other dogs and cats in the home slowly. She is up to date on all vaccinations, as well as flea and tick medication and heartworm medication. Ada enjoys soft treats and attention, however it can be difficult to get her attention while on walks or while she is distracted.
We are asking for a small rehoming fee of 150$ to ensure she is going to a home where she will be taken care of correctly. This rehoming fee is negotiable however, if you provide adequate proof of your ability to care for a dog (i.e, already have a vet, dog supplies, experience with animals, backyard, etc.) We also ask that we meet in person to determine whether Ada is a right fit for your home. Lastly, we ask that in the unlikely event that Ada is not the right fit for your home that Ada is returned to us, rather than brought to a shelter, or rescue.
