Nipsey is named after Nipsey Hussle, the rapper. He will answer to Nips or Nipsey. And is often affectional called “Nipolas.” Nipsey likes to play with other dogs and loves kids but is not a huge fan of cats. When he sees a cat, his canine instinct is to commence the chase.
He loves to meet new people and gives them LOTS of kisses. His favorite is when ANYONE scratches his back. He knows how to sit, shake, lay down, rollover and speak. Although he does not spend a ton of time in a kennel, he does know what a kennel is as a “box.”
Nipsey loves to play with people, dogs, and by himself. He runs very fast and loves attention.
Nipsey has been with our family since he was six weeks old. Giving him up is the last thing we want to do, but with a new baby, and the need for a new home, we just don’t have a choice. We want him to have a new great forever family that will love him and see his awesomeness!
Nipseys mom is a red nose pit and his dad is a blue nose has been fixed, is chipped, and has had all of his shots. He is about 70lbs When he was just shy of a year old, he developed a condition with his tail that required his tail to be amputated. He tolerated the surgery well and is beyond cute when he wags his nub. His previous vet did see the possibility of him dysplasia, which is common in his breed. She prescribed medications for him should the dysplasia cause him discomfort. Since moving to North Carolina, he has not required the medications and has no problems with jumping up on the bed or couch, nor has it slowed his running.
