Facilities Technician – Part-Time Connecting For Children and Families Pay range: from $20.00 per hour The Facilities Technician is the perfect position for a semi-retired handy man. This position is responsible for the overall management and operation of the buildings and grounds to ensure the safety, health and comfort of clients, families, children, staff, and visitors. The Facilities Technician works closely with all Directors and staff of CCF. Education and Work Experience Preferred: • High school education or equivalent • 5 years of working experience in facilities maintenance • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills • Customer service oriented • Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions: • Ability to push/lift 75 pounds • Ability to climb ladders • Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching as needed • Must be able to work flexible hours, some weekend and evening work as needed. • Ability to work in extreme temperatures • Performs other work-related duties as assigned Please email resume or letter of qualification when replying to this post or send to CCF, 46 Hope Street, Woonsocket, RI 02895 Attn: Nikki Santos.
