Cat hit on Stephens by Stitches

I saw a cat lying on the side of the road near Stitches this morning on my way to work, around 7:50 AM. I think it was long-haired. It's on the same side of the street as Stitches, but about a block east. Just wanting to get the word out there in case this is someone's fur baby. :(
