Seeking Percussionist: 14pc Variety Band

Are you a great percussionist/drummer? Groove ‘N Motion (GnM) is Denver’s premier high-power, horn-driven, Las Vegas-style variety band with a repertoire covering nearly every decade and style. Our 5 horns (RMH) and 5 rhythm support our 4 vocalists who take turns thrilling the audience with their unique and different vocal styles. The Rocky Mountain Horns are a powerful front line in the style of Tower of Power, Chicago, Earth, Wind & Fire and the Fat City Horns. GnM has an opening for: * percussionist (ideally who can double on kit for rehearsals) The band rehearses 2-3x month and has a calendar that is filling back up quickly (6 weddings so far in 2022). Also looking for monthly club gigs (i.e. Q's Pub, Wildgoose Saloon (Parker). Working with local bookers for other opportunities. We use state-of-the-art IEMs incorporated into our Behringer sound system. Full-time sound tech on all non-club gigs. Shouldn't need to say it but dependable, responsive, professional demeanor and positive attitude a must. We are a family of friends with a common love of great music.
