Job description Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader PENN is one of the nation's fastest-growing commercial landscape companies. We are currently looking for long-term, career-minded Crew Leaders/Foreman's in our East Norriton and Exton, PA locations. Applicants would strive for professional growth and advancement to grow within the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead a crew of techs to perform weekly landscape maintenance services. Operate landscape maintenance vehicles, tools, and equipment, in a safe and appropriate manner. Always ensure the safety of people first! Ensure proper maintenance of company vehicles and report all accidents/damage/malfunctions to management immediately. Direct and participate in equipment maintenance duties, training, and professional development. Learn how to use paperless technology and systems Snow operation with Plow/Salt Truck and/or Skid Steer or Wheel loaders. Report any safety-related issues with the equipment or landscape field techs to the Account Manager team. Attend and participate in scheduled training sessions as required. Perform other related issues as assigned. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Ideal candidates will have previous industry experience, the ability to manage field crew/techs, a willingness to deliver quality workmanship, and a strong, accountability, work ethic. Integrity, dependable, have a positive attitude and work well within a team atmosphere Mechanical understanding of equipment in the landscape industry. Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record - must meet insurance underwriting requirements. Ability to pass a drug screen. Ability to lift or carry 50 pounds 8-10 hours per day. Ability and willingness to work in various weather conditions 8-10 hours per day. Skills needed: Time Management Leading a team Ability to bend, squat, stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to lift 80 lbs.
