Full-time Golf Cart Mechanic
Job Description
As a full-time golf cart mechanic you will be maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electric golf carts.
The key responsibilities for this position are:
1. Repair and maintain golf carts in repair shop using hand tools and electrical testing devices.
2. Determines repair type required by reading work orders, talking to cart operator, and/or test driving cart.
3. Replaces defective parts using wrenches, pliers, and screwdrivers.
5. Rewires electrical systems, repairs or replaces electrical accessories such as horns or lights.
6. Tests, recharges, or replaces batteries.
7. Lubricates moving parts.
8. Performs brake jobs and alignments.
Requirements for this job:
1. Mechanical knowledge and experience repairing electric vehicles is a plus. Willing to train the right person!
2. Experience keeping track of tools, parts, and labor accurately.
3. Experience/familiar with using a tablet
5. Ability to lift 60+ lbs.
7. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with customers and co-workers.
8. Able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
8. Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain good attendance.
Rate of pay: $17.00 -$22.00 DOE, paid weekly.
