Rose Haven Nursing Center is seeking an organized and dedicated Maintenance Director to join our growing team!  The Maintenance Director will ensure the building(s), equipment and utilities are maintained in good working order and facility grounds are properly maintained in accordance with facility policies and State and Federal Regulations. Experience in a health care setting is required; long term care experience preferred. Must have minimum 5 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry repairs or equivalent technical knowledge or licensing. Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English. Must have strong working knowledge of Life Safety code regulations applicable to the health care industry. Must be familiar with State and local building code regulations. Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with other associates. Basic understanding of computer technology. Must meet all local health regulations, and pass post-employment physical exam if required. This requirement also includes criminal background investigation and reference inquiry. Must be responsive to after hour and weekend calls (24/7).
