Cannabis Trim & Harvest Laborers needed- part time

Jobs

Portland OR

Description

Hello! We are a small craft cannabis production facility located in Southeast Portland looking for experienced people seeking part time work as trimmers and harvest laborers. Please provide proof of your active Oregon OLCC Marijuana Worker's Permit in your email response to this post, as well as an email address and telephone number. Generally, we have 7-14 days a month of work available. All work starts at 10 AM here and will last no later than 6:30 PM. We generally work Monday to Friday but sometimes will offer work on the weekend. Harvests last one to two days and are compensated at $15 an hour. As plants are brought to you, you will pull water leaves off branches and hang the branches on coat hangers while standing at a table, usually for 5-8 hours. We have one harvest a month, sometimes two. We average 15 harvests and trim sessions a year. Trim is paid at $120 per pound. We provide trim trays, gloves, and clean alcohol but ask that you bring your own scissors. Our trimmers produce a minimum of one pound of "A" bud per day on average, depending on strain. Those that work the month's harvest are those that get offered to work that trim. Each trimmer gets their own plant to work on, and any material that is not trim-able "A" bud is separated into different containers by the trimmer. Feel free to respond to this posted email address with any questions, and to send in your resume or related work history and a contact phone number. We ask that trimmers plan to commit to a minimum of 4 days of full-time work here per trim session, and to attend all harvests. Again, please provide an attached copy of your signed OLCC marijuana handler's permit, contact info, a resume of some kind, and a brief email response to this post. This is a 1099 position- you will be paid a personal check at the end of the harvest or the end of the trim session.
