All Staffing Warehousing's client in Somerset, NJ is looking to hire an experienced Packer Sorter as soon as possible. Our client is a leading manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging products that serve markets world-wide. This is a temp to permanent opportunity. If interested, please call or text Sulia at 215-932-7404 Position Summary: 1 Person needed for each shift o Shift 4: Sunday – Tuesday 7am – 7pm, Wednesday 7am – 1pm o Shift 5: Sunday – Tuesday 7pm – 7am, Wednesday 7pm – 1am o Shift 6: Wednesday 1pm – 7pm, Thursday – Saturday 7am – 7pm o Shift 7: Thursday 1am – 7pm, Friday – Saturday 7pm – 7am (adds a $2 differential for the shift making it $17 per hour) Essential Functions: Pack and Sort boxes with materials Standing for long periods of time. Position requirements: ** HS diploma or GED Equivalent Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment in the capacity of material handler or shipping Basic computer skills (Excel, Word)- Job will require extensive use of hand scanning devices Basic math skills Detail oriented, good communication skills, able to manage projects as assigned Willing to work flexible hours, overtime and be on-call Proficiency in English – read, write, understand and speak fluently Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently. Food Safety Requirements: Monitor and verify activities to ensure that all maintenance work in the facility meet food safety standards in addition to quality standards. Comply with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures and complete documentation correctly. Ensure all work product contact surfaces are restored to sanitary condition after any job completion. Report incidents, and product or process failures that could impact food safety of manufactured product to your direct reports and submit a safety/food safety incident report.
