Develop a deeper understanding of the emerging ESG landscape and its impact on business. Environmental, Social justice, and Governance (ESG) The Blue Ridge ESG Seminar will explore how companies are realizing a values-driven strategy provides strong returns, builds resiliency, and increases employee retention. Across our inaugural two-day conference, students will learn how to position themselves for careers as socially responsible leaders. Industry keynotes, panel and breakout discussions, a case competition, and numerous networking opportunities will all focus on how sustainability has grown into ESG – a vital framework for today’s corporations to assess climate disruption, risk, and ethical practices. Space is limited to the first 100 student registrants. The conference is open to all UVA students. A small number of spots are reserved for students from other universities.
