2 Hours of live-fire shooting with Sgt. T. Perfect for both civilians and armed security officers. COURSE DESCRIPTION: This 2-Hour course is designed for the advanced beginner to the competent shooter, both civilian and security officers. In this course you will be given time to work on your shooting skills at the range. Concentration is placed on platform (shooting stance), grip, sight alignment and sight picture. This especially aids in home defense , concealed carry skills, and aides the armed security professional in maintaining proficiency between yearly requalification, and readiness on the job. Students are required to bring (or rent) their own firearm and 50-100 rounds of ammo, ear and eye protection (available for purchase at range). All purchases and rentals should be made prior to the start of class. PREREQUISITES: Students taking this course will have previously attended one or all of the following: First ShotsConcealed Carry CourseNRA Basic Pistol CourseStudents must be legally eligible to handle a firearmStudents under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.*In addition, student should have some shooting experience beyond basics, and be comfortable with shooting. WHAT'S INCLUDED: Instruction by Nationally Certified Firearms InstructorRange FeesIt is recommended that you use your own firearm, however, if you do not own your own weapon, one can be rented at the range prior to class. You will need to provide ammunition for the firearm, this must be purchased before class begins.SUPPLY LIST:Students are required to bring the following supplies: Functional handgun (full size and compact only, no micro pistols or pocket pistols). 2-3 magazines for semi-automatic pistols*Safety glasses*Hearing Protection*100 Rounds of ammunition for your firearm**item is available for purchase at range.
