For people who are interested in weight loss surgery and would like to meet with other people who are thinking or have undergone surgery. The Lutheran Hospital Bariatric Support Group is open to all patients pre and post-operative or those interested in learning more about weight loss surgery. It is a safe environment where you will not be judged and will form relationships with other patients. We offer education on a variety of subjects including protein supplements, vitamin recommendations, grocery store tours, preventing weight regain and health holiday recipes. Studies show that those who attend a support group on a regular basis have better weight loss! {BWSGS} Lutheran Hospital is a 396-bed tertiary care facility delivering innovative care in a nurturing environment.
