They will work together with their family to live a month in poverty.  The simulated "community" is a large room. Participants' "homes" are chairs in the center. Needed services like banks, schools and grocery stores are tables that line the perimeter of the room. These simulations have motivated and inspired many participants to take action in ending poverty within our community.  Simulation is appropriate for 12 years and up.  Join us at Franklin College.  Event cosponsored by Bridges Alliance of Johnson County, Franklin College,  Circles Indianapolis, and BRICKS Alliance, Inc.   Per Franklin College's COVID policies, all guests and facilitators should be masked regardless of vaccination status. We ask that everyone respect their policies and procedures for the safety of the community and event. Our Mission Bridges Alliance of Johnson County, Indiana is a collaboration effort of businesses, agencies, churches, and individual residents of Johnson County to end poverty by providing proven tools, resources, support, and relationships to foster stability and independence.
