Started alongside beloved friend / producer Max Perenchio, and finished after his passing, 'The Afterlove' carries Blue through very real experiences of love and loss. Songs like ‘San Junipero’ and ‘SayAPrayer’ paint colorful, fantastical sonic landscapes that feel like a dreamy simulation. Underneath synths and heavy pop hooks in 'Me Without U' are messages of empowerment and theprocessing of grief. Blue now steps into 'The Afterlove' not only as an emerging pop force, but also a producer, collaborating with other close friends Joseph Meland (Uuskhy, Iverson), Augustine Rompolla (Family of Geniuses), and LA's Shubu.
