Join TSG at our new #Southloop pop-up shop to learn about finding 'the simple good' through art. Join us Saturday morning, for the return of your favorite series, The Simple Good Social Emotional Learning Art Workshop. Escape the harsh winter and support your mental health and wellbeing by being part of our art community! Stop by as we drink coffee, commune, and take the time to explore different SEL Competencies through mindful meditations, SEL based art activities and discussion with our TSG Teaching Artist. We will use art prompts from our TSG SEL Based Art Activity Book so we can explore these understandings together. We will create a space to reflect on who we are, the beauty of our communities, and create opportunities for collective positive activism to help spread the simple good in our communities. These workshops are open to all ages. The Simple Good is a Chicago based nonprofit whose mission is to connect the meaning of ‘good’ from around the world to empower youth to bring positivity into communities through art and discussion. Through Social Emotional Learning and Mindfulness based youth art programming and public art projects, we transcend the message that no matter where you go in the world, good means the same to all of us – and that is what connects us as human beings.
