Shineworks is where Do-It-Yourself crafts meet Random Acts of Kindness. Who have you thanked today? Our Shineworks program, where Do-It-Yourself crafts meet Random Acts of Kindness, teaches your children gratitude! Participants will paint a ceramic gratitude plate, fire it up in our kiln, and then share it with loved ones and deserving people in their communities. Shineworks is one of the most fun things to do with kids in DFW, and is best suited for children in grades 1 - 5. House of Shine is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to help people from age 5 to 95 discover who they are and why their contribution to the world matters.
