Join Live in Peace Bike Shop and SVBC as we roll through East Palo Alto to the Bay Trail and the new 101 overpass! Live In Peace is a non-profit bike shop in East Palo Alto with a mission to empower youth and young adults to reclaim the vision for their future. When SVBC reached out to ask if Live In Peace would partner with us on a ride around East Palo Alto, they were kind enough to invite us to join them on a Saturday rideout around the area! SVBC is thrilled to be partnering with the team at Live in Peace Bike Shop to offer this group ride. We'll gather at their bike shop for introductions and check-ins, roll out together to ride the Bay Trail to the new 101 overpass, and arrive back at noon for snacks and a friendly chat. Participants should anticipate a leisurely 10-12 mile ride beginning and ending at Live in Peace Bike Shop (2524 Pulgas Ave). We'll gather starting at 9:30, with a departure time of 10 AM! Anticipate arriving back at the shop around noon. This ride may be on trails, bike lanes, and surface streets. It is appropriate for all bicycles and tricycles, including e-bikes. Expect a leisurely pace! This ride is sponsored by Peninsula Clean Energy.
